The Spring Series at Mohawk Mountain
The IronHike Spring Series is a multi-day mountain Endurance Event held each June at Mohawk Mountain Ski Area, 46 Great Hollow Road, Cornwall, Connecticut, in the Litchfield Hills. Mountain Athletes repeat a 1.25 mile climb gaining 595 feet of vertical per lap across seven Events from 12 to 84 hours: Kuwohi, Double Kuwohi, Denali, Everest, Olympus Mons, and the Answer the Bell Basic and Full backyard ultra formats. Registration for the Spring 2026 Series has closed.
Who We Are
IronHike Endurance Productions is a veteran-owned endurance event Series built by US Army veterans who hike, coach, and compete. Our Cadre trek every Event alongside the Mountain Athletes who come from 30 states and 3 countries and counting. Every foot of elevation gain is self-powered, earned one lap at a time, up and down, with night laps by headlamp and a finish bell waiting at the end.
Not a Race
IronHike produces not a race endurance event experiences built on vertical gain, time on feet, and the Tribe that climbs beside you. Hike, power hike, or run. Compete Solo or share the mileage with a Trail Buddy or Trail Family team using the self-managed FlexRelay format with no minimum laps per person. There is no podium and no finish line prize. The Mountain keeps no score.
What Is Next
The IronHike Fall Series returns to Mohawk Mountain October 1 thru 4, 2026. The Amicalola Falls Series runs December 9 thru 13, 2026 on the 604 step mountain staircase above Georgia's tallest waterfall at Amicalola Falls State Park in Dawsonville, Georgia, gateway to the Appalachian Trail.
